To rent a vehicle from Urban Wheels, drivers must present a valid driver’s license issued by the local or state government. International drivers must hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to their foreign license if it’s not in English. Temporary or learner permits are not accepted. Please ensure your license has been active for at least 12 months before renting.
Urban Wheels offers comprehensive insurance options for peace of mind during your rental period. Our coverage includes third-party liability, collision damage waiver, and theft protection. Customers may also opt for additional insurance to minimize excess in the event of damage or theft. For any accidents, please contact us immediately and provide a police report if applicable. Refer to our detailed insurance policy for specifics on coverage and exclusions.
Urban Wheels accepts various payment methods to suit your convenience. You can pay via major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, and digital payment options like PayPal. Additionally, we accept CabCharge and MPTP for eligible customers. All transactions are secure, ensuring your payment details are protected.
We understand that plans can change. Cancellations and modifications are permitted up to 24 hours before the booking start time for a full refund. Any modifications or cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking may incur a cancellation fee. If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us directly, and we will assist you with rescheduling or refund options.
For the comfort of all customers, Urban Wheels enforces a strict no-smoking policy in all vehicles. We also have a no-pet policy unless the pet is an assistance animal. Please inform us in advance if you’re traveling with an assistance animal to ensure a comfortable journey for you and your companion. Any evidence of smoking or unauthorized pets may result in a cleaning fee.
To rent a vehicle from Urban Wheels, the minimum age requirement is 21 years old. However, drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 may incur a young driver surcharge. For premium and luxury vehicles, the minimum age requirement may be higher. Please verify age requirements for specific vehicles during the booking process.
